In our fast paced, ever changing world, it’s not hard to find information. It comes at you from every angle, at the speed of light. Articles, blog posts, status updates, tweets–there’s always a ton of ideas to consider.
Gaining knowledge isn’t a problem. Applying it, on the other hand, is a lot more challenging, especially when you think about how little time we have throughout our busy days to stop, take a deep breath, and just be.
Wisdm.org is about reflecting on simple wisdom, and learning new ways to apply it to our complicated lives–complete with responsibilities, struggles, aspirations, and relationships.
You’ll find posts about happiness, motivation, meaning, mindfulness, relationships, inspiration, possibilities, love, and letting go. Much of it has its roots in Buddhism, but this is not a site about religion. It’s about ideas that make sense and make a big difference when applied.
My name is Rhys Wiggins, and although I run this site, it is not mine. It’s ours. It’s about us. Your stories and your wisdom are just as meaningful and useful as mine.
I invite and encourage you to get involved in this site by sharing a post, or introducing yourself in the comments. It’s a lot easier to be who you want to be in this world when you remember you are not alone!
I also invite any guest bloggers to contribute that have short articles similar to the ones you read here every day. And of course, your post will be credited to you and your website if you so choose! To contribute an article, please go to our contact page and fill out the web form.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
